Spawned from playwright parents, acting is in his genes. Stars as brooding hero and alien chaser Cade Foster in the sci-fi hit "First Wave". Claims to have a close encounter with a ghost and once chased a possible UFO down a country road. Still smart as a whip, devastatingly cute and seems completely unaware of his own charm.

Chris Brancato, writer and creator of "First Wave" announced on the Scifi channel "First Wave" bulletin board the end of "First Wave":

THE END

Hey everyone,

Sorry I've been off the board for awhile. I just received news from Larry Sugar that Pearson has failed to continue the series. It looks like we are dead. The time it took "the powers that be" to reach this decision is a testament to the dedicated fans of FW. Through your efforts, a megabillion dollar company was made aware that its shows actually provide enjoyment for real human beings. And still the numbers just didn't add up. I've had a wonderful three years, a large part of that enjoyment derived from reading this board and reading your comments. You are the best fans in science fiction. I am now onto a new show, created with Bert Salke, for the F/X Channel. It is called "Dope." It's non-scifi, but I hope you'll watch.

Chris

The production of the third season of "First Wave" is finished since December 2000. No matter where in the world you are watching "First Wave" whether there will be a fourth season for you to watch or not will be mostly depending on the decision of the American Scifi channel to financially back the production of it. The decision will be made in February 2001.
